Robert Wood was raised in Lubbock, raised his family in Lubbock, and enjoys watching his grandchildren grow up around him. He began working in the building industry in 1979 on the supplier side of the business. In 2002 Robert started Custom Homes by Robert Wood and began fulfilling his dreams of being a home builder. Robert’s first parade home was in 2006, his passion for life comes through in every project.  It is important to Robert that he surrounds himself with people who share the same work ethic; encouraging his friends, family, and employees to be the best at what they do.

Robert’s family consists of his wife, Sonja, of 29 years, two daughters and one son-in-law, Danielle and Jeff Sweat and Candice Fuller, and three wonderful grandchildren, Noah and Natalie Sweat and Estelle Fuller.
